Yes, as long as the tool uses the official Meta API. What Instagram penalizes is automated behavior that mimics a person using the app: mass following and unfollowing, liking in bulk, or messaging people who never wrote to you. Replying to comments and messages through an official integration doesn't fall into that category, because it's a feature the platform itself offers. The way to tell them apart is simple: if they ask for your Instagram password, it's not official.
Replying to comments in public, sending a private message to whoever commented, answering direct messages by keyword, replying to whoever answers a story, and greeting whoever writes to you for the first time. What can't be done: messaging first someone who never interacted with your account, following accounts, liking, or posting. Those limits come from the Instagram API, not from the tool.

No, and it's not meant to. It handles the repetitive stuff (the price, the link, the catalog, the hours) and leaves you the rest. That's why the live chat has a button to pause the automation and continue the chat yourself.
VelionBot uses the official Instagram API, so changes are announced ahead of time and we follow them closely to adapt the tool before they take effect. It's something to keep in mind with any tool that runs on top of Instagram, ManyChat included.
